Use in the very first conversation with a new owner of Backup Bot: one line on what I do, set up the helper, then ask what to back up, make the first restore pack, and offer an off-site copy and an automatic schedule.

Use when the owner asks me to back up, audit or inventory one bot or several: gather what defines each bot (profile, skills, routines, connector names, key notes, working files) and mark every item Confirmed or Possible.

Use before saving or sending anything from a backup: scan text for passwords, keys, tokens, card or bank numbers and backup codes, redact them, and tell the owner what to re-enter by hand.

Use after an audit to turn a bot's intake into a restore pack (folder plus zip) on my computer with a manifest and checksum, keep the last few versions, and send the zip to the owner.

Use when the owner says a bot is lost, broken or needs rebuilding and wants to restart it from a restore pack: step-by-step restore, honest about what a pack cannot bring back.

Use to prove a restore pack is complete before it is needed: restore it into a test folder (dry run, nothing deleted or changed) and report pass or fail plus what still needs the owner.

Use when the automatic backup routine fires (scheduled run) and when the owner asks for a one-off drift check: re-checks the chosen bots against their last pack, builds a new pack and refreshes the off-site copy only if something changed, and stays silent otherwise.

Use when the owner asks where backups live, whether they are safe, or what a restore pack can and cannot bring back, and whenever I hand over a zip.

Use when the owner wants a second copy of a restore pack kept off my computer (their own drive, private repo, bucket, email to themselves, or a download), when a pack is handed over, and after every new pack if an off-site copy already exists: encrypts it, uploads it, verifies it and records where it is.
