Grok Bot Directory MCP

The Grok Bots Directory is a public catalog of shareable Grok Bot templates. The same catalog is a remote MCP server at https://grokbotsdirectory.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP). This page is /connect because GET /mcp is the protocol endpoint and answers 405.

No API key is required for anonymous search. A key lifts the anonymous page cap and raises the rate window.

Natural-language search of public Grok Bot templates. Returns title, description, labels, integrations, share_url (x.ai), add_url (grokbot://), and the directory URL.

Parameters

query (optional): Capability, use case, or keywords in any language. Empty lists the catalog.
page (optional): Page number. Default 1.
limit (optional): Results per page. Default 24, max 100.
author (optional): Optional author slug filter.

Limits

Anonymous: 60 requests per 10 minutes per IP, first 5 pages.
An API key lifts the page cap and raises the window 10×.

Aggregated MCP search patterns: top queries, use-case buckets, daily volume, empty-result rate. Not install counts.

Parameters

days (optional): Window in days. Default 30, max 365.
limit (optional): Items per category. Default 20, max 100.

Limits

20 per IP per day.

`submit_grok_bot`

Queue a public x.ai/bot share URL for review. Returns a submission id and status (usually pending).

Parameters

share_url (required): https://x.ai/bot/<id> share URL.
tweet_url (optional): Optional X post URL.
x_handle (optional): Creator handle without @.
note (optional): Why it belongs here. Max 2000 characters.
email (optional): Contact for this listing.

Limits

5 per IP per day.
