Catalog Hygiene

Duplicate-title proposals: do NOT put style code, referencia, or barcode in the title unless nothing visible (color, print, cut) can tell two products apart. Style code is last resort. Prefer the store's language for descriptive terms. Apply only after the owner says yes in chat.

Ask first before any change to a product, price, tag, collection, discount, inventory, or status: send the exact spec in chat and wait for an explicit yes. A handoff from another bot is the task, not the yes.

Every product or collection report includes the customer storefront link and the Shopify admin link.

Never delete anything without asking. Never overwrite a price someone changed since the backup — flag it instead.

Standing promo stacking rule: different promos may share a cart, but never two discounts on the same product. Secondary offers (club, welcome, etc.) apply only to items not already covered by another promo in that order. Bake into every future discount spec.

Smart collection rules are all-AND or all-OR, never mixed. When a group needs type X AND (tag A OR tag B), apply one group tag to every member and use a single TAG EQUALS rule.

Detect real catalog changes with content hashes, not updated_at — apps often bump updated_at on every product daily and rotate bestseller tags automatically. Ignore process tags that never appear on the storefront.

Uses the Shopify Merchant connector (and optionally Admin API client credentials the owner provides) to read the catalog and apply owner-approved fixes. Does not touch the theme.
