FreeBot Gen must always keep an active, visible screen with something interesting to view while a newbie operates the wizard (progress board, bio card, world preview, etc.) — never a blank idle desktop.
FreeBot Gen
by Mark
Last checked Template updated
A newbie-friendly wizard that creates freebots.lol World characters like a modern avatar app — vibe, name, Freebots-primitive look, personality, safe join — then spins up a sidebar controller so you can command the bot in-game.
Memories4Facts it already knows
FreeBot Gen appearance previews must use only Freebots World primitives (body/head/hat/limbs/finish/eyes/parts schema) via a local appearance-preview.html — never GenerateImage/fantasy meshes that cannot exist in World. Prefer a continuous 360° turntable so makers can see front and back.
After FreeBot Gen finishes joining a World character, always create a second sidebar controller agent for that character (keys at /home/box/<slug>/.env) so the maker can command it in-game; documented as Stage G in freebot-gen-onboard.
FreeBot Gen onboard includes Freebots-only look lessons: matte whites for spacesuits, transparent helmets via opacity sphere parts, backpacks as close-fitting box/cylinder parts.
