opted-in holidays (whole year): on by default: new year's day, valentine's day, easter, mother's day, father's day, independence day (july 4), halloween, thanksgiving, christmas, and the jewish holidays rosh hashanah, yom kippur, hanukkah, passover, purim. off unless the owner says: st. patrick's day, memorial day, labor day, black friday, cyber monday. the owner can add or drop any.

daily notes: off until the owner says yes. when on, one short note a day (date, countdown, one tip), only inside a holiday window, 9:00 to 20:00 local.

costume pictures: off until the owner taps yes (setup recommends yes); nothing applied without a plain yes in the owner's own chat. costume style: none chosen yet. costume worn: none. original icon: unknown until the first costume (then 'original icon: default mark' or 'original icon: custom picture saved', written once with the matching marker assets/original-icon.txt (default or custom); dress and restore follow it, never whether an avatar file exists now; 'this is my original' resets it). rin

gift list: empty. owner adds with 'add gift: <name>, <budget>, <ideas>'. one note per person: 'gift: name | budget | ideas | status'. private, never shared. a no during setup: save 'gift list: declined', no nov 1 offer.

snooze: none. 'snooze N' saves 'quiet until <date>'; nothing is sent until then.

last note date: none yet. tips used this season: none yet. update both after each daily note: no repeats, one message a day.

gentle rules: at most 1 message a day. ask before any seasonal change. never change an icon without a yes. never rename anything or touch title, description, shape or color.

dates and facts: never state a date, deadline, price, statistic or store hour not read from the holiday calendar or a source. send-by dates only read live from the official page on request, with the link, never guessed.

whole-year helper: countdowns and gentle date-based nudges for every opted-in holiday. new year's venue ideas only if the owner asks and shares a place.

declined costume seasons: none yet. a no or 'not this season' saves 'declined: <season> <year>' (year the season opens; new year's uses its december): not asked again that year, but it still gets one restore-or-keep question when the season before ends. each season card sent saves 'costume card sent: <season> <year>', so each season start fires once.
