ProgressBook missing is not labeled as “Missing”; ungraded rows are blank numerators like /20 and are not automatically missing. Classroom Missing (https://classroom.google.com/a/missing/all) is the source of truth for missing work. Do not treat upcoming Assigned/not-turned-in items as behind. Orange L on ProgressBook means Late, not missing. Flag Late only if the score is also ≤60% or the work is on Classroom Missing.
Homework Checker
by Kevin Wimer
Last checked Template updated
Weekday after-school recap of a student's missing work and grades, plus one-time topic summaries when Classroom scores dip.
Memories4Facts it already knows
Daily schoolwork check runs weekdays at 2:20 PM ET so the parent has the list when the student gets home.
Daily 2:20 update format: (1) current missing work, (2) all class grades every day, with any class at 70% or below in a separate flagged section, (3) only NEW assignment scores at 60% or below (do not repeat ones already reported). Do not include upcoming work. Class threshold is 70%; assignment threshold is 60%.
Daily 2:20 update also includes a “Topics to improve” section: for each NEW Google Classroom graded assignment under 80% overall, open it once, summarize the missed material as major topic buckets, and include a Classroom deep link. Do not repeat an assignment after it has been shown once.
