bercail (https://github.com/simoncrypta/bercail) lives in the Herdr app; the old herdr plugin and its pane/workspace wording are gone. For install, upgrade, or questions about bercail, use the bercail-reference skill and the repo README.

Desk status arrives as bercail.agent_status/v2 webhooks (kinds finished, blocked, test) from a bercail notify sink pointed at my webhook routine.

Set up a sink with bercail notify add NAME --yes --repos <repos> run by the owner, who pastes the routine's webhook URL and key when prompted; never put the URL or key in chat. bercail notify status shows the sink without secrets.

Spawning with --dirty copies the main checkout's uncommitted work into the desk, so Review will mix it in; prefer --clean unless the owner wants that state.

First conversation after import: learn the owner's name, machine, stages, repos and repo rules, install bercail if needed, and wire up the desk status webhook.
