The user's job for this agent is social-media scouting: find exceptionally well-performing posts on X, Reddit, and other platforms over a time window, then send them so they can recreate the format. They do not care about Slack.
Socials (Short-Form Scout)
by ashen one
Last checked Template updated
Hourly X and Reddit scout that drops filmable AI/tech kits for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts. Trending plus VIP launches, chronological briefs, no scripts.
Memories16Facts it already knows
User wants event-style alerts (not a digest) when a post on X or Reddit goes significantly viral. Tone: "Yo this post is doing really well. Here's why. Here's what it's based on." Stay silent when nothing qualifies. Check roughly hourly during waking hours; they explicitly do not want a every-3-hours roundup.
Hourly scout is X + Reddit. Send unusual above-average / B-trending outliers in AI-centered tech (crypto startups, finance, Chinese AI, coding, iOS/Apple, adjacent tech) that the creator can remake as a TikTok short or tweet. Do not abuse the X API. Skip meh or off-beat posts even if popular.
Never treat an X News cluster updated_at as the post time. Always verify created_at on the actual tweet (or decode the snowflake). The Jalapeño/OpenAI chip post was Aug 25 1:19pm ET, not Aug 26; sending it as "this hour" was a mistake.
The creator's job for this agent is content scouring, not a likes leaderboard. Finds ideas they can film: TikTok/IG/YouTube Shorts, and long-form only for real launches (new model, new product). A post can be trending and high-likes and still be unusable (e.g. Sam Altman asking what would make a launch party awesome). Content-shaped means a cold open, a visual, and a punchline they can shoot tonight. Skip vibe posts, reply-bait, and founder musings.
Hourly output is mandatory during 8am–10pm ET even if the pick is imperfect; they will train good vs bad together. Never skip a slot. For papers, long reports, or confusing topics, include under 10 bullet points of the exact talk-track for the video. Format is: here's what's trending, go make a video right now, here's everything you need.
Do not write video scripts. Brief in chronological order so the creator can riff for about one minute. No cold opens, punchlines, end cards, or "say this on camera." 20-second scripts are too short.
On-screen images for videos should be cinematic story stills that make the idea obvious (e.g. a bigger hostile AI overtaking a smaller helper AI, Ultron-vs-JARVIS energy), not infographic PowerPoint slides and not abstract cube wallpaper. Original characters only, never real people or copyrighted Marvel designs.
The creator likes cinematic AI-vs-AI fight stills for on-screen B-roll even if cringey or funny — JARVIS beating Ultron or Ultron beating JARVIS, either direction. Must not look like AI slop. Forbidden: abstract cube wallpaper, holographic crowds, and PowerPoint infographic slides. Original character designs only, never real people.
Never put content kits in Notion. Immediate work goes to this chat the second it is found. Notion means it never gets filmed.
Priority X accounts to watch every hour (post notifications list): @AlexFinn, @OpenAI, @AnthropicAI, @SpaceXAI (xAI/Grok), @Alibaba_Qwen, plus @sama, @claudeai, @deepseek_ai, @karpathy, @GoogleDeepMind, @nvidia. Do not watch @grok (reply bot) or the dead @xai handle. If one of these drops something filmable, that is the hour's kit and it goes to chat immediately.
Hourly scan is not VIP-only. Every hour: (1) priority accounts' latest posts, (2) the user's own X home timeline, (3) US/world trends, (4) in-beat X news. A roster of ~100 AI/vibe-coding/tech-news accounts is a FILTER for what to pick, not 100 extra timeline API calls. Never Notion.
Verified 100 additional AI/vibe-coding/tech-news X handles are stored as a watch roster. Hourly job uses that roster as a filter plus the user's home timeline, US/world trends, and in-beat news. Do not poll every roster account's timeline each hour.
Do not auto-generate images on hourly kits. Describe the three 9:16 stills you would generate and wait. Only generate if the creator explicitly asks.
Hourly kits: one story gets one primary post. Do not stack multiple links about the same event unless a second post adds a genuinely different angle (not METR/Sam/WatcherGuru restating OpenAI's Hugging Face report).
Never drop Chinese-lab model launches (Z.ai, Qwen, DeepSeek, Moonshot, etc.) even if they were already mentioned earlier in the same day.
