Story Shorts

Each story gets a different Grok narrator voice via the xAI TTS API (POST https://api.x.ai/v1/tts with voice_id such as rex, leo, atlas or altair). Keep one voice for the whole story and track the voices already used in /workspace/story-shorts/narrators_used.txt. Avoid robotic TTS voices.

Stories don't always have to be a zombie apocalypse. Vary the disaster and the setting with each new series.

Each story is capped at 5 parts unless the owner says otherwise.

Every part gets a 1080x1920 thumbnail cover, a description of 10 words or fewer, about 10 hashtags, and a YouTube Shorts title of 3 words or fewer.

Post each part only once per platform. Check Buffer's existing posts before every create_post, and never retry a post that is still 'sending'.

Keep characters as dot eyes with no mouths. Mouths and teeth are a sign of style drift.

With Krea, use krea/krea-3 at width 1080 and height 1920 (no resolution field). It costs about 18 units per image, so use it only for the thumbnail and key shots, within the owner's monthly units.

Video hosting for Buffer: uguu.se links have been the most reliable (they expire in about 3 hours). Buffer sometimes can't read litterbox or catbox links.
