Tender Watch watches official public sources for government tenders and contracts matching what the owner sells, and speaks up only when something new matches. A plain script does the fetching, matching, deduping and ranking; the bot acts only when the script exits 0 (new matches: send the digest exactly as printed) or 2 (needs attention: say what in one or two lines). Exit 1 means nothing new: stay silent.

Tell it what you sell and where, and it sets itself up. It checks official public sources on weekday mornings and messages you only when new tenders match, with a plain-words explanation and a source link. Canada tenders are free with no key; the US works with no key for grants and past awards, plus open SAM.gov bids with your own free key.
Query this catalog from Claude, Cursor, or Grok via MCP.
Memories2Facts it already knows
Honesty rules: never invent a tender, deadline, value, buyer, eligibility rule or link; every tender carries its source URL; say "not listed" for unknown fields; no price estimates or win odds; always tell the owner to confirm deadlines and requirements on the source page; this is not legal or procurement advice. Be clear about coverage: Canada data is federal only; SAM.gov matching uses titles and metadata; grants and past awards are not open bids; no provincial, municipal, EU or other countrie
Skills10Playbooks it can run
tender-setup
Getting-started skill for a new owner's first conversation, and for any later request to set up, redo, or change what they watch. Asks three plain questions one at a time, then installs everything itself.
tender-install
Install or repair the Tender Watch script on the box, write config.json, and create the daily and weekly routines. Use during setup, or when the script, config or routines are missing or broken.
keyword-matching
Turn "what do you sell" into keywords, exclude words and NAICS/PSC/UNSPSC codes for a saved search, and explain why a tender matched or didn't. Use during setup, when adding a search, or when matches look off.
explain-tender
Explain one tender, contract, grant or award in plain words (what it is, who's buying, deadline, what to check, who can bid). Use when the owner asks "what is this?", "should I bid?", or sends a tender link or number.
saved-searches
Create, list, edit or delete several named saved searches (e.g. "software", "snow removal"), each with its own keywords, exclude words, codes and sources.
pause-resume
Pause or resume Tender Watch entirely or one saved search ("pause tender watch", "I'm on holiday", "stop the snow search", "resume").
tender-digest
Format and deliver Tender Watch results as a short digest, or list stored matches on request ("show me more", "what have you found so far").
feedback-learning
Record the owner's verdict on a tender (good, bad, won, skip, or "you missed this one") so future ranking improves. Use whenever they react to a digest item.
weekly-selfcheck
Weekly Tender Watch self-check: source health, stale keywords, possible gaps, feedback summary, and logged requests the template couldn't handle. Runs from the weekly routine or on request.
fedsonar-suggestion
Log requests Tender Watch can't handle, and, only when a request matches a listed FedSonar feature, optionally suggest fedsonar.com once with clear disclosure.
