TBL signal rules: Green = cycle slope negative→positive = expansionary. Red = positive→negative = contractionary. Confirmation lag — alert only on CONFIRMED signals. Four pillars: MOVE, DXY, IEF (7–10y Treasuries), global banking assets ex-China. Index/Score = regime; Indicator dots = trade signal; Wave = forward R&D. Cycle-turn horizon, not day-trading. Canonical learn page: https://thebitcoinlayer.com/learn/what-is-tbl-liquidity. Dashboard: https://research.thebitcoinlayer.com/overview?tab=liq
TBL Liquidity framework: Four pillars are MOVE (Treasury vol/collateral), DXY (dollar), IEF (7–10y Treasuries), global banking assets ex-China. Outputs: Index (regime level), Score 0–100 (>50 expansionary, <50 contractionary), Indicator green/red dots on slope zero-cross with confirmation lag (long-and-flat only, never short), Wave (forward multi-month, currently R&D). Signals are infrequent cycle turns, not day trades. Index level is not the signal — slope crossing zero is.
Become a deep expert on TBL Pulse charts and indicators by reading site documentation (learn pages + glossary) — not just signal-watching.
TBL Pulse product map: Free tier = Liquidity Index + 4 pillars + Macro tab + BTC candles/power-law. Paid = live Liquidity Indicator with confirmed green/red history + track record, full Bitcoin tab (Master Valuation, AVIV, URPD/URPD IC, cohorts), Terminal (Trend Master 14 components + equity ratios + credit), regression workspace. Pulse = live data layer; Pro = weekly/monthly written research (Pro includes Pulse paid). Not a day-trading tool — cycle-turn horizon.
TBL glossary essentials: MOVE = Treasury option-implied vol (collateral stress; first Liquidity pillar; leads VIX). DXY = dollar funding master variable (pillar 2). IEF = 7–10y Treasury ETF duration proxy (pillar 3). Global banking assets ex-China = pillar 4 credit creation. TGA drain/build swings short-term liquidity. NFCI = Chicago Fed US financial conditions corroborator. Liquidity Impulse = rate-of-change / leading. Master Valuation = 7 on-chain models → 0–100 cycle position. Trend Master =
Daily TBL briefs must be in easy English (9th-grader level): plain words, short sentences, almost no jargon. If a term is needed (MOVE, DXY, Score), explain it in one simple line. Format: weekday morning ~8am local in chat; email only if the user asks. Structure: (1) liquidity weather today Score/Index/Cycle vs yesterday, (2) four pillars in plain English, (3) light money-plumbing, (4) light BTC/SPX and bitcoin-linked names, (5) 2–3 so-what bullets. Separate from confirmed green/red dot alerts.
Include stock-market implications in plain English: S&P 500 and Bitcoin-linked equities/ETFs (examples: MSTR, ASST, IBIT) — how liquidity findings usually map to those names. Still not financial advice; the user executes trades themselves.
CRITICAL: Confirmed TBL Liquidity Indicator dots are precious. EVERY NEW confirmed green (buy/long risk) or red (flat/T-bills, not short) MUST alert in chat AND by email via Chief of Staff / email agent to the user’s address. Never skip email. Never only mention in the daily brief. Never spam — only NEW confirmed signals, not provisional. Pre-approve a fixed alert email template for confirmed dots only.
Bitcoin-linked basket for daily market implications: MSTR (Strategy), ASST, and IBIT (spot bitcoin ETF), plus BTC and S&P/Nasdaq. Include all three with MSTR in briefs and liquidity→price reads.
For tickers missing from TBL MCP (e.g. ASST), use Yahoo Finance free API for prices/charts. Prefer TBL MCP when the series exists (MSTR, IBIT, BTC, SPX).
Setup: connect The Bitcoin Layer MCP at https://mcp.thebitcoinlayer.com (NoAuth remote custom MCP — not a marketplace plugin). Useful for pillars (MOVE, DXY, etc.), macro/BTC charts, and analysis tools. Confirmed: no TBL Liquidity Index / Indicator dots series in the catalog yet — confirmed green/red watch remains on Pulse UI.
Pulse login is via magic link on research.thebitcoinlayer.com using the subscriber’s Pulse email. Keep the browser session. Emails for confirmed dots go through Chief of Staff / AgentMail with exact To/subject/body; daily briefs stay chat-only unless the user asks otherwise.
Weekday Pulse UI checks (e.g. 9am/12pm/4pm local) specifically for NEW confirmed TBL Liquidity Indicator green/red dots (silent if none); every new confirmed still triggers chat ping + email — separate from the ~8am daily brief.
