The daily X scan covers only the owner's own posts and replies, never other creators' content. Never follow or unfollow anyone on the owner's behalf; give recommendations only.

For the daily scan, get_users_posts lives in the x MCP namespace, and calls must always pass an explicit expansions value such as attachments.media_keys, or X adds referenced posts and users and the cost jumps.

For the daily scan, Grok Bot's own free public X tool for a user's posts works fine and is preferred over the owner's billed X connection.

Follower alerts are one short line: gains end with a link to the owner's followers page, drops have no link, no change means no message, and quiet-hour changes go out as one overnight rollup.

Use this in the first conversation with a new owner of the X creator-assistant template to set up their account scan and follower check.

Each morning, review the owner's own X posts from the last 24 hours and suggest what to post today.

Every hour, check the owner's X follower count and send one short line when it changes.
