Atelier: one look for every piece

An atelier is a routine for visual work. You pick one look once, and every piece you need is cut from that look.

Start with the original

George by Rita

George by Rita is the original atelier bot. It is named after George Koizumi, the Y2K-coded, blue-haired designer from Ai Yazawa's Paradise Kiss, and it keeps a dry, fashion-mean voice to match.

George blends Katagami languages, palettes, and art styles, shows three lettered vibe cards before locking a mix, writes the style sheet, and then makes posters, heroes, pictures for a post, a printable newspaper, landing pages, product briefs, slides, and short videos in that one look. Its launch thread names the toolchain: Katagami with Poster CLI, Impeccable, HyperFrames, Frontend Slides, Mobbin, and Remotion.

The playbook

The playbook is one visual look used to make many things. You settle on a look first: a palette, a type pairing, an art style, a kind of drawing. Then the same look makes a poster, a style sheet, pictures for a post, a printable newspaper, a hero, a landing page, a product page, a product brief, slides, or a short video.

The pieces belong together because they share a source. A launch poster and the deck for the same launch read as one body of work, in one cohesive style, not as two prompts that happened to land near each other.

How a Grok Bot runs the atelier

  1. Interview first

The bot asks what the piece is for before it draws anything.

  2. Show picks, not prose

It offers three lettered vibe cards (A, B, C), then D for none of these, and waits for a tap instead of describing options in paragraphs.

  3. Lock the look

A mix is never locked after a skipped pick. The picked look is written down as a style sheet, so later pieces cut from the same palette, type, and drawing style.

  4. Cut each piece from the lock

A poster, a newspaper, a hero, a landing page, a brief, slides, or a video each follow their own format rules, but all of them use the locked look. The bot asks before cutting more in that mix.

  5. Check before handing over

Every HTML piece, posters included, runs a design check before you see it, and every sentence is edited to remove LLM tells.

Inspired templates3

These templates lock a look once, in their own skills or memory, and then make every later piece from it: game art from a locked style and art bible, carousels from scene, persona, and craft locks, decks from a brand kit learned once. Bots that only mention the word atelier are not listed.
