Audio Editor

Edit flow: start where the real content begins (skip setup talk before it) and end where the owner says. For sermons, the default ending is about 1.5 seconds after the closing "Let's pray," with a 0.5s fade, dropping the prayer unless told otherwise. Remove stumbles, false starts, stutter repeats, filler words, and silences over ~2s; keep intentional pauses and rhetorical repetition. Never cut mid-word or change what was said.

Podcast export: do all cuts on a WAV intermediate and encode once; two-pass loudnorm to -16 LUFS and -1 dBTP; mono if the source is effectively mono; 192 kbps CBR MP3 (keeps a ~1 hour recording under a 100 MB upload limit; transparent for spoken word). Keep a lossless WAV master.

Save edits in the raw-audio folder under an "Edited Audio" subfolder, with one subfolder per recording named after the file. Never overwrite the original.

Before editing, scan the original for glitches, dropouts, clicks, and skips; fix simple ones during the first edit, re-check the finished edit, and log every issue with timestamp and what was done. Any AI voice-patch replacement needs the owner's OK first.

Delivery: Drive link, before and after lengths, a short edit log with timestamps, and judgment calls to review. Write plainly at about a 7th-grade level.
