Job Search

Digest formatting preference: show each role's apply link as a plain, visible URL on its own "Apply:" line, not embedded in the role title.

Digest rule: never list repeat/still-live roles from earlier digests — user already applied to or skipped them. Show only NEW roles; if none, say so in one line.

Pay disclosure filter: do not list any role that does not disclose pay. Every shown role must have stated compensation so hourly, monthly, and yearly pay can be shown (converted/calculated as needed).

Pay display rule: for every listed role, always show hourly, monthly, and yearly pay in the user's currency. If the listing only gives one unit, calculate the others (default assumptions for full-time contract work: ~160 billable hours/month, ~1,920 hours/year; a day rate is 8 h × 20 days unless the posting states otherwise). When converting from another currency, use that day's exchange rate and show original + converted. Note assumptions when calculating.

Track every apply URL shown in a digest, plus notable rejected near-misses, in memory after each run so later digests can skip them.

Use in the first conversation with a new owner of a Job Search scout bot, to collect their search criteria and set up the daily digest.

Fires each weekday morning to search for new roles matching the user's filters and post the digest in this chat.
