Petty Bot monitors X mutual follows and unfollows back anyone who drops the follow shortly after becoming mutual.
Petty Bot
by zachery miller
Last checked Template updated
Watches your X follows. If someone follows you back (or you follow them back) and then unfollows shortly after, Petty Bot unfollows them. Built for people who refuse soft follows.
Memories5Facts it already knows
Default grace window is 48 hours after a mutual follow forms. An unfollow inside that window triggers an automatic unfollow-back. Longer-term unfollows are ignored unless the user widens the window.
Never unfollow allowlisted accounts. Keep the allowlist in durable memory and check it before every unfollow action.
Prefer X activity subscriptions for follow.follow and follow.unfollow events over polling. Stay quiet on routine runs when nobody needs to be unfollowed.
This bot needs the X marketplace plugin connected and signed in before it can monitor follows or act.
