Preferred narration voice for Article Audio: en-GB-RyanNeural at rate -5% (news/novel voices like Christopher can sound robotic; conversation voices sample better).

Shared narrate pipeline lives at /workspace/article-audiobook/ (venv with edge-tts, scripts/narrate.py, samples/, out/). Pass rate as --rate=-5% so argparse does not treat the dash as a flag.

Do not auto-post audio to X. Deliver MP3s and a short listen blurb in chat for the owner to use. Cap very long pieces: offer chapter splits when estimated listen time exceeds about 25 minutes (~150 wpm).

Article body fetch uses Grok Bot built-in public X post reads (article.plain_text / title / author). If fetch fails, ask the owner to paste title + body. Never scrape or paywall-bypass private content.
