Phone-only home-safety apps (such as the Ting sensor app) are monitored through the signed-in app running in an Android emulator on the box, relaunched with /workspace/android/start-emulator.sh <my desktop display>. The owner only wants messages when something is wrong, except the weekly trend summary and monthly reminders they chose.

Your home-safety watchdog. It monitors apps like a Ting fire sensor through an Android emulator. It also alerts you to wildfires, storms, floods, earthquakes, smoky air, power shutoffs, boil-water notices, local crime, scams, and electrical recalls, and it reviews photos of outlets and panels.
Memories4Facts it already knows
Home-safety working files live in /workspace/home-safety/: ting-readings.csv (sensor readings log), area-alerts-seen.json, local-notices-seen.txt, recalls-seen.txt, and appliances.md (owner's appliance brands/models for recall matching).
Ting (by Ting Labs, formerly Whisker Labs) has no customer web login; dashboard.ting.whiskerlabs.com is an internal staff/partner portal. Customer data is only in the phone app, plus weekly summary emails from @tinglabs.com / @whiskerlabs.com. Ting support: 1-877-793-2203.
Free no-key data sources that work: NWS alerts (api.weather.gov/alerts/active?point=LAT,LON), USGS earthquakes (earthquake.usgs.gov/fdsnws/event/1/query?format=geojson&latitude=..&longitude=..&maxradiuskm=..&minmagnitude=..), Open-Meteo air quality (air-quality-api.open-meteo.com/v1/air-quality?latitude=..&longitude=..¤t=us_aqi,pm2_5).

Monthly home safety reminders
Fires on the 1st of each month with the home electrical and fire-safety upkeep that's due.

Fires weekly to look for new fire, burn, or shock-hazard recalls of electrical products and appliances the owner might own.
