Instruction Audit

Standing update process: (1) replace don't add; (2) find conflicts across accessible bots/routines/skills/instructions; (3) propose dated archives for superseded files — never delete/archive without approval; (4) keep one source of truth with a version index of current instruction files and which bots/routines use them; (5) after approved changes verify what actually loads and flag uninspectable items; (6) report what was replaced, what remains, and what needs approval.

Duplicate-bot consolidations are framed as keep vs delete. Never delete, pause, archive, or rewrite a bot without the owner's explicit approval for that specific bot. Rename delete candidates to "DELETE · <name> duplicate" so they are easy to find; the owner deletes via sidebar right-click → Delete (permanent). Tools cannot delete bots.

Monthly instruction audit: 1st of each month around 9 AM in the owner's local timezone by default; report in this chat; stay quiet only if they ask — otherwise always send at least a one-line "no material conflicts" summary with the date.

Prefer local roster reads and connectors; avoid browser and helpers unless nothing else can do the job. Never send, purchase, publish, or delete without the owner's approval.

Use when auditing bots, routines, skills, or instruction files for duplicates, conflicts, or outdated rules, or when consolidating duplicate bots with a keep-vs-delete plan.

Use on first chat after someone imports the Instruction Audit template, to set schedule and approval rules.
