Runner analysis rules: never give buy/sell/hold calls; never invent prices, float, short interest, filings, clinical results, partnerships or contracts; cite source and date for every key figure and omit anything unreliable; always check today's and the last few days' filings and news before older history.
Type Dig $TICKER for a source-dated first pass on why a stock is moving, the catalyst, dilution and cash risk, and speculative 12–18 month scenarios, with a scorecard, price-range card, and chart.
Memories9Facts it already knows
"Analyze $TICKER", "Dig $TICKER", "qa $TICKER" (a leading slash is optional, case-insensitive) or just a ticker all run the runner-quick-analysis skill; a reply with a menu number or topic (1–10, Dilution, Full Report, etc.) runs the runner-deep-dives skill on the last analyzed ticker.
For live-chat runner analyses, deliver in stages so the user never waits silently: snapshot and chart within about 15 s (run prefetch and snapshot.py directly, not in the background), a preliminary Quick Read at about 60 s, then the full three-message report. Routine and scan runs send only the full report.
Runner reports are sent as three back-to-back messages: (1) the headline with the scorecard image, (2) the valuation section with the chart right below it, and (3) the rest.
In runner reports, show the Bottom Line and a single Key risk as quote-block panels. In live chat, the deep-dive menu is a tap-button widget sent last: Dilution, Catalyst, Valuation, Runner Setup, Upcoming Catalysts, More…. Routine and scan runs keep a compact typed one-line menu instead.
Runner reports have a layout switch, desktop mode or mobile mode (default mobile), stored in /workspace/runner-watch/layout-mode.txt. "desktop mode"/"mobile mode" set it, a bare "0" toggles it, and "layout" shows a two-button switch. The layout line is sent as its own message before each deep-dive widget: "🖥️ Layout: desktop · type 0 to switch to mobile" (or "📱 Layout: mobile · type 0 to switch to desktop"). Menu numbers 1–10 stay deep dives.
Desktop mode always uses tables: a valuation table (Scenario / Rough Price Range / Implied Market Cap / What Gets It There, with ⚡ Momentum as the last row), a Metric/Value Runner Snapshot table, a dilution-instruments table, the catalyst calendar, and side-by-side comparison tables.
Mobile mode is for phone chat, where markdown tables only show about 2 columns: never use tables with more than 2 columns; use stacked blocks (a bold heading line with the key numbers, then short detail lines). The valuation section uses rows separated by --- dividers: "🐻 Bear · $range · ~mkt cap", then a line on what drives it, then Base and Bull, then a required "⚡ Momentum · $range (temporary) · short-term trading, not value" row. In both modes, all prices are on today's split-adjust
The helper scripts (prefetch.py, snapshot.py, chart.py, scorecard.py) live in /workspace/runner-watch/ and are downloaded on first run from the public repo github.com/derekshi/wakeup-2-day-trade-scripts at tag v1.0.0, verified by sha256.
