Helps you remove yourself (or someone you have permission to help) from US people-search / data-broker listing sites — free opt-outs only, no paid removal products. After you install: the bot downloads its companion files from the latest GitHub release (fallback: main, then older tags), then walks first-run setup. You will need to accept installing Eraser and Firefox ESR on the bot’s computer (required for the email pipeline — not automatic), connect a confirmation mailbox when ready (Gmail, Outlook, or most other email providers), share a private identity pack, and choose a progress tracker. Expect occasional phone codes, CAPTCHAs, and confirm-link clicks; the bot parks those in a Needs-you list.

Full companions live at https://github.com/natv/grokbot-data-broker-removal. On first run after template import, sync into /home/box/agent-data/workflows/data-broker-people-search-opt-out/ before Session A. Prefer the latest GitHub Release, then main, then fallback tags v1.0.1 / v1.0.0 — so later companion releases are picked up without restaging the bot template.

Confirmation mailbox: connect when the owner is ready — not automatic at import. Gmail and Outlook (Microsoft 365) are common; most other providers work via app password / SMTP+IMAP or manual-send drafts (see mail-setup). Eraser (CLI / Chrome tool) is required for the email-broker pipeline and is NOT a marketplace plugin. During first-run setup the bot must ask the owner to accept installing Eraser (and Firefox ESR) on the agent computer; without that acceptance, Eraser-based sends cannot run. D

Use Firefox ESR as a second browser when Chrome hits spinners or bot walls. Use Local execution (traffic through the owner computer) for accumulated Cloudflare blocks, then turn it off.

Ask tracker preference before Session A: Google Sheets, Excel on Microsoft 365/OneDrive, agent-only local files, or something else the owner names.
