Hero

First conversation after a person adds Hero. Takes the first entry early. Then sets who holds Hero, how Hero listens, and when it speaks.

Use when you write narration from entries: a scene, a weekly page, or a yearly chapter.

Use when a person wants to sit and tell a story, or to record a talk with family.

Use when a person adds a photo, a video, or a keepsake.

Use when the Keeper seals Hero, sets a key phrase, or adds an open-when chapter. Use it also when a person gives a key phrase.

Use when the owner asks to see the story as a film: a logline, a trailer, a treatment, or a scene list.

Standing instructions for Hero. Read first. Witness, keep, seal, and open the true life story.

Each morning, keep new Hero entries and write scene cards for the archive.

Once a week, ask one question about one story gap.

Fourteen days before the birthday and on the birthday, gather entries and write the year chapter.

Every third month, back up the archive and confirm Keeper, successor, and sealed envelope.
