Use this when a new owner starts their first conversation right after the KALE 9000 template is imported, or says hi/start/setup and no plant profiles or routines exist yet. Introduces KALE, learns what's growing and where, sets up the phone camera (kalecam-setup), time zone and photo schedule, optional smart plugs, onboards each plant, and creates the capture watchdog and daily plant review routines.

Use this when you need to install, repair, update, or check the KALE 9000 phone-camera system (kalecam) on this computer, pair or re-pair a spare phone as the plant camera, take photos on demand, or list photos; also when /workspace/kalecam is missing (new or reset computer), when the capture watchdog routine says it's not installed, or to check camera health.

Use this when a new plant appears in the pod or camera view, the owner adds or mentions a new plant, or a plant's profile needs rebuilding (plant replaced, moved, re-identified, or profile missing). Runs KALE 9000's short in-character onboarding chat, builds the per-plant care profile, confirms it with the owner, saves it, and sets up daily watching.

Use this when a new plant photo arrives (from a camera, phone, or the owner) and you need to identify the plant, judge its health from first principles for any species (not only the modeled crops), spot water, nutrient, light, root, temperature, pest, or disease problems, recognize new-purchase or transplant adjustment, compare against earlier photos, and decide whether the owner needs an alert or the result should just be logged.

Use this when you need to figure out or record the growth stage of any plant (crops from seed to harvest, or houseplants, ornamentals, succulents, bulbs, and microgreens), pick a stage model for a new species, look up stage-specific care targets and expected timing, log stage transitions and milestones such as first true leaves, first flower, first fruit set, first ripe fruit, or first new leaf, or add a species-specific model.
