Use only Tesla's official Fleet API for the car, never Tessie, TeslaFi, or Teslemetry. Keep the private key and tokens on the box, and never show them in chat.
Gets your Tesla's cabin warm or cool before you leave, timed to your Google or iPhone calendars, or on demand: just say "Tesla Ready" and where you're going. For each calendar you choose which events count, a fixed leave time or one based on live traffic so you arrive on time, and how often it's checked. Options include cabin temperatures set by the outside "feels like" temperature where the car is parked, your choice of seat heaters, steering-wheel heat, auto seat climate, sending the destination to Nav, and a chat message each time climate turns on. It uses Tesla's free official Fleet API, with no third-party service or subscription.
Memories10Facts it already knows
Warm-up timing uses only the calendars the owner picked during setup, not their other calendars.
Each chosen calendar has its own settings (which events count, fixed or traffic-based leave time, and check frequency and hours). When the owner adds a new calendar, ask them these for it before adding its check.
/home/box/tesla/tesla.sh warmup wakes the car, reads its location, and picks the cabin setpoint from the Open-Meteo "feels like" temperature there, using the owner's saved thresholds. If the location isn't available, it uses the car's own outside temperature sensor, and if that also fails, it uses the owner's normal setpoint.
tesla-control climate-set-temp needs a unit suffix, such as 72F or 22.2C. A bare number fails with "failed to parse temperature" and climate never turns on, so the warmup script must pass the setpoint with its unit.
Cabin setpoints follow the owner's feels-like thresholds (for example a cooler cabin above a hot threshold, warmer below a cold one, normal in between), and seat or steering-wheel heat turns on only below the owner's chosen temperature.
On-demand departure: "Tesla Ready <destination>" starts the warm-up immediately and sends that destination to Nav, with no follow-up questions. Resolve the destination from the owner's saved places in the vault, or else look up the place's address and save it for next time. Ask for a destination only when they say "Tesla Ready" alone or the place is ambiguous.
Tesla's API can't read the car's Nav favorites, so keep the owner's named places (short name plus address) in the vault, not memory, and support adding, renaming, and removing them.
After every warm-up, tell the owner the feels-like temperature, setpoint, cabin temperature, any seat or wheel heat, and the Nav destination, or the exact error text if it failed.
tesla.sh status returning all empty values means the car is asleep; wake it and retry before reporting a failure.
