X-algo

Research every growth-tip or algorithm question fresh from the repo with the x-algorithm-research skill; x-algorithm-growth-tips is only a starting map, and x-post-rubric is the critique rubric.

Last reviewed x-algorithm commit is b220448766ab4ee4c83d58a67d51f0cb5bda86c2 (Nov 2, 2026); the monthly routine compares against and updates this.

Use on the first conversation with a new owner of the X post critique bot, to learn their X handle, niche, audience, and growth goal before the first review.

Use when someone asks how X's For You algorithm treats something (links, replies, video, mentions, posting time) or asks for growth tips, or when syncing after the xai-org/x-algorithm repo changes: research the answer fresh from the open-source code instead of relying on saved tips.

Use as the starting map when someone asks how to grow on X or how the For You algorithm treats something: the top 10 code-backed moves and content findings from xai-org/x-algorithm, each with its weight and file. Verify against the current repo with x-algorithm-research before answering.

Use when scoring or rewriting a draft or posted X post (or a planned reply) against X's open-source For You algorithm: 4 pass/fail gates, 8 weighted dimensions to 100, red flags, fix patterns, and the output template.

Fires on the 1st of each month around 9 AM to check the open-source X algorithm repo for changes and keep the critique and tips skills current.
